In 1939, Mr. K. P. Paul began his business career with a laundry service called Popular Washing Home and quickly found success. Known for his leadership and focus on employee satisfaction, he expanded into the tyre and battery restoration business in 1941. After World War II, he took advantage of opportunities in the spare parts market, particularly with surplus military vehicle parts. In 1944, he founded Popular Automobiles, growing it into one of India’s largest chain stores for spare parts, including both imported and new automobile parts, with offices in major Indian cities.

Marqland a brand of Popular Auto works pvt ltd deals with the globally renowned luxury brand of JAGUAR LAND ROVER. Marqland was established in 2009 to satisfy the growing luxury automotive needs of the silicone city, Bengaluru and spread our reach across the state. Marqland has been able to facilitate the sales/service and marketing of these luxury automobiles brands by the presence of a highly competitive staff and a complete 3S (Sales, service and spares) all under one roof since its inception. Under the well versed and able guidance of our directors and the top management, the company has been able to establish itself and make it a well-known brand in the ultra HNI’s society as per expected branding and marketing guidelines laid down by the global brand, JLR. Over the years with a steady growth and well thought out strategy, Marqland has been able to expand its facilities by introducing India’s largest JLR service hub having a size of 42000sqft which caters to all the possible JLR automotive needs for our clients. Marqland has also set up the facilities to establish the foundation for the world acclaimed Jaguar Land Rover Approved division to bring in a whole new market under us and strengthen the brand image. Keeping the luxury automotive demand in mind, Marqland has set of 2 Sales outlets and 3 service outlets in the state of Karnataka.

He was a born leader and believed in employee empowerment and satisfaction. He motivated employees who delivered impeccable customer service.Mr. KP Paul was a visionary. In the year 1941 he diversified into tyre, tube vulcanizing and battery restoration business. When the 2nd world war came to a closure, he found ample opportunity in the spare parts business by procuring the surplus spare parts of military vehicles. In the year 1944, he established Popular Automobiles, which became one of India’s largest chain store dealing in spare parts. He further forayed into imported and new automobile parts. It had a pan India presence with offices at Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and Calcutta.
